We have a solid three days of CHT-Specific information to provide for you. There will be one general CHT day, covering the many and varied parts of CHT (in overview) with examples, discussion and questions on how those parts may be put to use. Beyond this general CHT familiarity day, the remainder of the conference will be Web-oriented, with specific, hands-on training that will help you service the web-application needs of your customers. If you've been paying attention to what the demands are these days where NEW application development is concerned, the lion's share of it is going web-based. CHT has some perfectly viable ways for you to hook into this without surrendering or abandoning years of Clarion experience and going wholesale to other technologies.Conference Cost
There is NO CHARGE for the conference to CHT developers with active CHT subscriptions. Please let us know your intention to attend by contacting Gus at: gcreces@gmail.com Non-subscribers and lapsed subscribers, may attend for $149.00 which they can pay for at the following URL: Purchase Page. Travel, lodging and meals are at your own expense. The conference will be held in the town where Gus Creces lives Milton Ontario, Canada. CHT will provide the presentation venue (see below) and equipment for the event including coffee/tea-breaks and snacks at CHT expense. Bring your laptop so that you can participate in the hands-on parts of the conference - which is most of it. Milton is a 20-minute drive away from Toronto International Airport. And we have two decent hotels in Milton where you can stay for the duration of the conference. Holiday Inn Express Suites This hotel is the newer of the two and is about 2Km from the meeting room. See map item (A): MAP TO: Holiday Inn Express. Best Western Plus The meeting will be held in the Halton Room of this hotel. We have classroom-style seating for up to 21 developers and as of April 20th we've heard from 10 developers to say they're coming. First shot at seating will go to active CHT subscribers -- conference attendance is free for you -- so we'll keep these spaces open for you lot, until say, May 15th at which time we'll let the remaining spaces go to any non CHT developers who pre-pay the attendance fee.See map item (C): MAP TO: Best Western Plus.

Since you're coming here anyway, you may want to spend a few days touring Southern Ontario by car and seeing some of the sights. Southern Ontario, for the most part is flat as a pancake, so you won't see any mountain vistas, but we're surrounded by THE GREAT LAKES.They contain roughly 18% of the world supply of fresh surface water, and 84% of North America’s supply. Roughly 1/3 of the Canadian population lives by or near the northern fringes of one of these great lakes. Milton is near Lake Ontario, just west of Toronto.Tourist-Organization Links

Niagara Falls is 98KM from Milton and easy 1 hour drive:Niagara Falls From Milton Milton is only about 20KM north of Lake Ontario which you can see on the map above. But since we're surrounded by water on 3 sides, it's an easy drive to Lake Huron (170KM) to the vacation district on that Lake. This is the area (around Grand Bend) where I grew up as a child, beautiful in the summer, bitter cold in the winter as the north wind blows in over the lake.

Collingwood on Georgian Bay If you zoom out on any of these maps you'll see (as I said) that we're surrounded by water (The Great Lakes) on three sides. The drive to Port Dover vacation area on Lake Erie is only 100KM.
Port Dover on Lake Erie The Toronto International Airport is only 30KM from Milton and Toronto Island Airport is only 50KM. International flights come in at Toronto Airport. Regional flights (say from Quebec) might get better rates with Porter Airways and land at the Toronto Island airport also shown in this map.
Toronto International Airport and Toronto Island Airport Ottawa Ontario (Canada's Capital) is 450KM East of Milton, roughly a four hour drive.
